Delete your account and data

Ultimate Coach (listed on Google Play and the App Store as Ultimate Coach App) is published by Dee Gee Apps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17431562, registered office 57 Woodway, Brentwood, Essex, CM13 2JR, United Kingdom. ICO registration reference ZC246575.

This page explains how to have your account and the data associated with it deleted. You do not need an account, or to be signed in, to use it.

How to request deletion

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

This is the fastest route, and it takes effect straight away.

  1. Open Ultimate Coach and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Account, then Delete account.
  4. Read the summary of what will be removed — if you are a parent or guardian it names each child affected.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm, and tap the confirm button.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out. There is nothing further to do.

Option 2 — by email

If you cannot sign in, or you would rather we did it for you:

  1. Email privacy@ultimatecoachapp.com from the address on your account.
  2. Use the subject line Delete my account.
  3. Tell us the email address of the account, and the name of any child whose data you are asking us to remove.

We will acknowledge your request and complete it within 30 days, and normally much sooner. If you email from a different address we may ask a question to confirm the account is yours, because we will not delete someone else's data on an unverified request.

Emailing from an address we cannot match to an account is the only situation in which deletion is delayed. If you are able to sign in, use Option 1.

If you are a coach who owns a team

You cannot delete your account while you own a team that still has players in it — doing so would strand that team's squad, fixtures and match records, which belong to other families as much as to you.

The app will prompt you to either transfer the team to another coach, or remove the remaining players first. Once the team is transferred or empty, deletion proceeds normally.

What is deleted

The following is permanently removed or irreversibly scrambled as soon as the request is processed:

Children linked to your account

What is kept, and why

Ultimate Coach records shared team history. A match result, the score and who played belong to every family in that squad, not only to one account. If deleting one account erased those records, it would silently rewrite everyone else's season.

So we anonymise rather than erase them. After deletion the following remain, with no name, date of birth, photograph or contact detail attached and no way to link them back to you:

Because this information no longer identifies anyone, it is not personal data under the UK GDPR.

Additional retention period

WhatHow long after deletion
Your personal details and loginRemoved immediately
Encrypted database backups that may still contain your dataUp to 30 days, after which they are overwritten on a rolling cycle. Backups are never used to restore a deleted account and are not accessible to staff for routine use.
Anonymised match and team recordsKept indefinitely — they no longer identify you (see above)
Records we must keep by law, such as purchase and tax recordsUp to 6 years, as required by UK tax law. These are held by Apple or Google as the seller; we do not hold your payment details at any point.
