Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 29 August 2026  ·  Effective: 29 August 2026

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using Ultimate Coach (the “App”), a service operated by Dee Gee Apps Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY_NUMBER], with its registered office at [REGISTERED_OFFICE_ADDRESS] (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Summary. Ultimate Coach helps coaches and parents manage youth‑football teams and track player development. Adults (18+) create accounts; children use player accounts set up or linked by a parent/guardian or coach. Some features are paid. You’re responsible for having the right consents for any child data you enter. Full detail below.

1. About the App

Ultimate Coach is a sports team‑management platform that helps coaches and parents track player development, manage fixtures and training, record match data, and share performance information. It is intended for use with youth and amateur football teams.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a coach or parent account. Children may use the App only through a player account that has been created or linked by a parent/guardian, or by a coach who confirms they hold the appropriate parental consent. By registering, you confirm your information is accurate and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms (and, for a child’s account, to do so on their behalf).

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@ultimatecoachapp.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. User roles

Coaches are solely responsible for ensuring that any player data they enter (including names, ages and photos) relates to players for whom they have appropriate parental consent.

4. Children’s data & safeguarding

The App is used to record data relating to minors. You agree to:

Player accounts for children under 16 receive enhanced protections: no advertising, no ad tracking, no behavioural analytics, no in‑app purchases, and no user‑to‑user messaging. Where a coach or club enters player data, that coach/club is the data controller and we act as processor on their behalf. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

5. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data. By using the App you acknowledge you have read it. In short: essential diagnostics are always on for stability and security; behavioural analytics and personalised advertising are optional (adults only) and require consent you can withdraw at any time; and we do not sell your personal data.

6. Purchases & subscriptions

7. Advertising

The App may display advertising to adult accounts. Where you have consented, ads may be personalised; otherwise you will see non‑personalised ads only. Children under 16 are never shown ads. You can manage ad preferences in Settings → Data & Privacy.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to: post unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory or discriminatory content; infringe intellectual‑property rights; attempt unauthorised access to the App or its infrastructure; use bots or scrapers to extract data; impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a team or club; or use the App for unrelated commercial purposes without our written consent.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g. player photos, notes). By uploading, you grant us a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide licence to store, display and process that content solely to provide the service. You warrant that you have all necessary rights and consents to upload it.

10. Contact features

The App may display another user’s contact details (phone/email) where they have consented to share them via their contact preferences. Use any such details only for legitimate team‑management purposes and never for unsolicited messages or spam. The App does not provide user‑to‑user messaging.

11. Third‑party data (FA Full Time)

The App can retrieve publicly available fixtures and results from The FA’s Full Time service when you choose to link a league or team. That data is provided by third parties and may be incomplete, delayed or unavailable; we do not guarantee its accuracy and are not responsible for it.

12. Intellectual property

All App content, features, design and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual‑property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our prior written permission.

13. Third‑party services

The App integrates third‑party services including Supabase (database/authentication/storage), Expo (mobile framework & notifications), Google AdMob (advertising), PostHog (analytics), and the Apple App Store / Google Play (purchases). Your use of those services is subject to their terms; we are not responsible for their availability or content.

14. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non‑infringement.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of data or revenue. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of £50 or the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.

15. Availability & changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We’ll endeavour to give advance notice of material changes via in‑App notice or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Termination

You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account, or by contacting support@ultimatecoachapp.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect users. On termination, your right to use the App ceases and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
